DONATE TO OPERATION DRIVE

The transportation needs of seniors, veterans, persons with disabilities, and low income families touch every family in America in some way or another.

Two out of every three people over the age of 65 are in the Universe right now.

Medical appointments are the most common missed appointments; most people use our services for medical purposes, and medical rides are accounted at 46% of total rides during our most recent study.

By definition, a family is considered “poor” is the family who cannot meet its basic necessities such as housing, food, childcare, healthcare, and has income below official poverty level -23,834 based on a family of four. 15 million children in America live below poverty level and 40 percent live in extreme poverty.

Planning for your future mobility needs, and supporting the service now helps to ensure that it will be available to more people in the future. Will you help us by becoming a partner, sponsor, or a community advocate and help spread the word about Operation Drive.

Please help us provide safe, affordable, personal transportation to seniors, veterans, persons with disabilities, and low income families in under-serviced communities. With your support, those who can no longer drive can get to medical appointments, the grocery store, food pantries, employment and anywhere else they need to go to stay connected to family, friends, and the community.

Our Goal

It is our goal to raise awareness about the transportation crisis in Suburban areas of Illinois. Our plan is to create partnerships with public and community groups to remove the barriers of the current transportation crisis to provide “fill in the gap” transportation options. Seniors, persons with disabilities, disabled, veterans, and children in suburban areas of Illinois are greatly impacted, and cannot get to critical appointments. Operation Drive will provide transportation services to seniors, persons with disabilities, veterans, and persons that are disadvantaged to help build strong, and sustainable communities.
